Meeting . . . . . Keeping the lid on the pan, I waited alone outside the door and watched for images. Sedated thoughts revived memories as the night air unleashed a trembling. A hot moon lit the way, and I meandered down the driveway then turned back. Resist the opening of these gates. I saw her move toward me, as I pieced together notes and words. Sliding around, inevitably turned. I felt my hamstrings tighten. Her tranquil eyes bring solace and hope. My mouth tingled and watered, while the necktie rosary slipped askew.
